Othello has an orange cat called Buttercup! She literally found him in a sewer drain and made a power point presentation about why she should get to keep him which she forced Charlie and her mom to listen to.
Speaking of her mom, her name is Pearl Elliott and she's on the police force with Charlie.
Thomas Elliott, Othello's father, left her and her mother when Othello was nine. She's of the opinion they're better off.
