[Oh wait. CPR. He hasn't tried that yet. He facepalms, feeling stupid for not even thinking about this yet. Surely the combination of CPR and ninpō transfer should work just fine.]

[He tries his best to stay calm and focus, giving her CPR while transferring some of his ninpō to her.]

[Toby is limp in his arms as he escapes the facility. She's still not breathing, and there's no pulse to be found.]

[There's an empty shed nearby. The perfect place to hide for the moment....]

[Donnie hides in the shed, and he lays Toby down gently.]

Come on, come on ... Y-You'll be okay ... Um ...

[Ninpo might work. He tries to do a transfer. He puts his forehead to hers and concentrates on giving her his energy. He's trying to hold back his tears the whole time.]

[Bishop turns the collar off and steps forward.]

Are you surrendering, then?

[Toby doesn't move... she's not breathing.]

What made you think that, you monster!? No, I'm not surrendering, I'm taking her!

[He's incredibly angry. Toby's not moving. They're killing Toby, they're killing his chosen. His ninpo is glowing bright, the light running through his tech-bo, too. He swings it at Bishop, and all of the lightbulbs in the room explode, leaving everyone in total darkness. The only thing visible is Donnie, glowing a bright purple. Emergency red lights come on, but by the time they do, Donnie has fled the room with Toby, making their escape.]

[Bishop dodges, pressing a button on the remote. Toby stiffens as electricity runs through her, but doesn't wake up.]

Fine. We'll do it your way.

[The agent nods at the guards, who step forward with weapons raised. He doesn't turned off the collar.]

[Donnie tumbles to the floor, feeling rage and fear run through him. He looks over at Toby, then the guards approaching with weapons.]

Hey!!

[Donnie jumps to his feet and rushes at them.]

Knock it off, you'll kill them!!

I would drop your weapon if I were you.

[The man -- Bishop -- raises the remote.]

This controls the collar. Try anything, and the yokai gets shocked. Painful for it, but not lethal. For now.

Drop the weapon and step away from the table.

[His heart races faster and faster. He doesn't believe that they're going to keep their promise. Why would villains feel the need to play by the rules?]

[He lunges at the men, figuring he can move quick enough to knock the remote from Bishop's hand and break it before he can react.]

[Two guards enter the room, blocking the exit. A man steps between them, holding a remote. He smiles.]

Hello, Othello. I am Agent John Bishop. It's good to have the pair completed. Thank you for handing yourself over.

[He whips out his tech-bō and grips it tightly.]

What are ... N-No ... Wait ... No!

[As soon as he touches her, there's a loud beep, and electricity shoots up his arm.]

[There's a metal collar around Toby's throat.]

[Donnie yelps and falls to the floor.]

N-No, what?? How do I disable this ...

[He rubs his arm, which feels completely numb. Ow. He gets up and immediately worries that he's triggered some alarm, and he stands there frozen.]

That collar ...

[Soon, he's looking down into a familiar room; the lab from the video. Toby's still strapped to the table, and the room is otherwise empty.]

Huh, weird ... Why is no one guarding this room? Surely they're still recording it, though.

[The security camera is moving back and forth slowly to scan the room. He makes sure to only move when he is out of its field of vision. He darts over to the table and hides beside it, working on getting her out.]
