I finally saw Project Hail Mary (very good) and one thing I kept getting so amused by is that Milana Vayntrub plays Olesya Ilyukhina when she also played Tina Shukshin in Other Space. No one saw this show (it was a Yahoo Original and I don't think you can even find it anymore) but it was also about disaster astronauts trapped in space with no way home.

So once Grace pulls out all the vodka that was hers all I could think of was:

if i had a nickel for every time a host from mst3k played a bisexual vaguely nonbinary-coded stoner engineer with brain damage who was stranded in space and was the caretaker of a sarcastic fidgety and slightly horny robot voiced by trace beaulieu i'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot but it's so incredibly funny that it happened twice

i just finished watching all of other space and i already miss zalian and a.r.t. they're so stupid /vpos
