Little Angel (if Scamp lived)
Every day is a struggle. All I can do is watch my attempted murderer free of punishment. I could never tell anyone, they wouldn’t believe me. Everyone sees HER as innocent and kind. I was forced to resign. Now I am a stay at home mom. My little Gothic turns five at the end of this month. It’s a joyous day, as it was the day she officially joined our lives, for me it’s a day I don’t look forward to. If I had my way, Candy wouldn’t live with us. I stay silent though, no need to cause fights with Peaches. I watch my daughter closely. I need to protect her from my sister in law. I don’t let Gothic stray too far from me, unless Peaches is taking our child alone. Brat spoils her niece to no end. As much as she would like to deny it. Just yesterday she brought home this beautiful black dress for my little one. Gothic was immediately drawn to it. The color contrasted her red hair well. It came with a bow, I refused to put it on my child. It reminds me too much of HER. “Mama” My child called, “mama why you frowny?” “Don’t worry my angel” I hadn’t even realized I pulled my face into a frightened scowl. She shouldn’t have to worry about me. “Okay mama, can I go play with Auntie Cotton?” She asked innocently. I froze. I began to shake. I didn’t want her to have anything to do with my baby girl. Nothing said she wouldn’t attack my child, or me again. I am so much weaker after Gothic’s birth, I doubt I could even take Candy now. I had to compose myself quick. “Angel why don’t we go through our closets and look pretty for mommy?” I offered instead. Luckily my dear child seemed to brighten up at the suggestion. “You can pick my clothes mama, I get to pick yours” she giggled. My child has the cutest laugh. I would listen to all day if I could. “Okay Angel” I respond automatically. I wonder how my wife thinks of my actions. Whenever she is home she doesn’t let me do things for myself. She always argues that it is because my body only recovered to a bit less than half my original hp when Gothic was born. I took my child by the hand and led her to the bedroom. “Mama, you and mommy have sisters, can I have one?” I had to bite back a grimace. I knew she would ask this eventually. Besides being too afraid to even try again with Candy living with us, I am physically incapable of carrying another child. Peaches may offer to carry, but for now I am content with one. “Mommy and I will have to talk, okay angel” I told my baby girl with a tone a little harsher than I was expecting. Despite that my child didn’t seem to notice. “Oh Sister-in-law~” a voice called in a hateful sing song voice. Damn it she is home early. “Angel wait here, Mama has to deal with something” I commanded, my ex gaurdsman tone coming through, so she knew that I meant business. “Come on don’t leave me waiting.” I heard Candy call out. I approached the stairs with trepidation. Logically she wouldn’t dust me, she wouldn’t have an alibi, but fear still coursed through my marrow. Carefully I crept down to where my attacker was. “What do you want?” I asked as calmly as I could. “Well slut I just thought you wanted to know that your sister is in the hospital. Some human attacked her. She is in the ICU, children aren’t allowed, but I would not mind watching the little bastard.” She spat. I trembled, the internal conflict whirring in my head. I couldn’t let Gothic be left with her, but I needed to see how bad my sister was. “I won’t hurt the little bastard, she isn’t who I want hurt, you are. So go.” She wasn’t being nice for me, she was being nice for her friend. I nod slowly hoping this isn’t some ploy to lose my credibility. I may as well take this one day at a time.
Contentious of Tender Beauty
Lost part 4
Frisk watched as the goat man went back into the ruins. They knew he was lonely, but they weren’t from this reality and wanted to go home.
“Hey kid” Sans said. Frisk turned their attention to the skeleton. She really looked like her big sister, just thinner and bonier.
“Yeah Sans?” The angel replied.
“You seem tense, why don’t you explain what all is going on and I will see if I can help ya. In the meantime do you want to meet my sister? She’d love you”
Frisk nodded mutely. They wondered how their own reality was faring without them. We’re their sisters worried for them? Were they replaced?
Sans led the winged child to where the taller sibling was located. “Hey Pap, I found this stray, do you mind that we look after them, till they want to leave?”
Papyrus frowned. “Sister of course I wouldn’t have a problem with that, but that is an improper way to start a conversation.” The woman scolded.
“Oops” sans shrugged.
“Child would you come here?” Papyrus asked softly. Frisk only answered by doing as they were asked. The younger skeleton enveloped them in a hug. This caught the child off gaurd but returned the hug.
“Thank you” the small angel whispered. The hug hadn’t been as nice, or as warm as the ones her sister’s gave her, but it was comforting all the same. They child wanted to go home, but this imitation would do for now. It would never pass for the real thing, however it would keep the child calm enough.
After meeting Papyrus, Sans took the child to the sisters’ home in Snowdin. Naturally it had a room missing as only two inhabited this dwelling instead of three.
“K, kid tell me about who you are, and how you have messed with the timeline.”
“Sans, I am from a world where all of you are trapped underground, but all of you are human. Papy and you are my guardians and big sisters. Monster’s inhabit the surface and have very limited skills in magic if any. This place is all backwards for me. I dont know hiw I got here, and I wanna go home” Frisk explained tears pricking in their eyes.
“Alright then, we should probably take you to Doctor Alphys. He may know a way to get you back to your ‘Mirror World’” Frisk grinned at what the small skeleton had said. They have a chance to go back home and see their family! They couldn’t wait to see their sisters again.
(Sorry about not posting this earlier. I had loads of stuff going on. But now I am on break. Superfan)
Lost part 3
By the time Frisk and Toriel were ready to leave the next day the reality that the world the child currently inhabited was opposite to their own world had sank in. Still they had trouble trusting Toriel. Monster’s had been the reason why the child fell to the underground in the first place.
Toriel began to open the doors and the angel stiffened. Would Sans be there waiting? The child took a cautious step into the snow. Quickly they stretched out their wings and dismounted the ground.
Toriel chuckled at the flying monster’s eagerness to fly once more. “Child, who are we looking for.” He asked.
Frisk frowned slightly in thought and replied, “we need to find my sister Sans.” They took off as quickly as they could looking for a young woman in a blue jacket. Sans would know how to fix this. She was smart because she knew about the timelines. She would fix this. The child had stopped focusing on their flight. Their low altitude began to drop. It didn’t even register until they landed…. well they crashed into the person they were looking for. The child began to tremble but tried to keep it cool. This skeleton was her sister in another world. Nothing would go wrong.
“Trying to off me before I could do anything kid?” The skeleton asked exhaustedly. Sans stared at the small angel with wide sockets. The resemblance to the child who continously goes on killing sprees was uncanny. However it couldn’t have been the same kid. This child was a monster. She peeled herself off the ground and helped Frisk up.
“Kid?” The small skeleton tried again.
“I-I am…. the le-legendary fart master"
Despite the stutter the child was easily understandable. The child had known the secret, secret code.
"Okay kid tell me what is goi-” She whispered before getting cut off.
“Child is this your sister?” Toriel asked. “You know it’s dangerous to run off.”
Frisk’s frown deepened slightly. “This is Sans. She is my big sister.”
The skeleton reached out a hand towards the goat monster. “Thank you for finding my little sibling”
Toriel shook hands with the skeleton and was shocked to hear a whoopee cushion. He was even more shocked to hear the genuine laughter from the child.
“The ol’ whoopee cushion in the hand trick, it’s always funny” the skeleton chuckled.
“I suppose it is.” Toriel replies with a smile before turning to leave. “Goodbye child”
Sans turned her attention back to the child, “do you want to tell me what’s going on?”
They nodded. “I wanna go home”
Confessions
A young boy, around the age of 20 sat next to a much shorter skeleton female
Not much conversation was shared between the two. The tension was higher than ever. They obviously liked each other but couldn’t muster the courage to say anything
Sans could of easily said something of course, but her normal façade was totally crushed around Frisk
“So uh…what does a skeleton tile their roof with?” She looked up, her smile never fading
“I’ve heard this one before” Frisk let out a light, awkward chuckle “Oh yeah…um, some jokes never get old, ya know?” Sans laughed, shrugging “Can’t stop telling the good ones…”
It trailed to an awkward silence once more. It was unbearable to stand
Everyone was freed, and on the surface for a few years now. Sans lived happily with her sister Papyrus. Frisk lived with his parents Asgore and Toriel
Everything was perfect. Undyne lived with his boyfriend Alphys. Mettaton was a famous star, and still was able to spend time with her cousin, Napstablook
Everyone was happy. Had relationships even, everyone expect Frisk and Sans. Why couldn’t she just admit it to him? A simple ‘I like you, more than a friend…ya understand? You don’t have to like me back, don’t even worry bout it’
Frisk then cleared his throat, snapping the skeleton out of her thoughts “Sans…I have something important to tell you…” He started. She admired how much deeper his voice had become “What is it kiddo?”
“I like you…a lot” He whispered, looking down at his dark jeans “I have for a long time now”
He was expecting rejection, when he really got a small giggle “Oh boy, kid, that’s hilarious” Her grin seemed to grow
He was dumbfounded “Why are you laughing…?”
“'Cause I like you too, Frisk” She told him, digging her hands deeper into hee rather warm pockets “A lot~”
Suddenly, warm lips touched her skull. A blue tint spreading across her face “Ey…give me a warning there next time”
Frisk smiled, wrapping an arm around the small skeleton girl “Alright…”
And they sat like that for a long time, watching the snow build a fresh sheet over the monster town
Thank you so much on your entry! Sorry that you had to try three times ^^’
Dazed
From the moment Sans woke up, she knew it would be one of those days. Her bones ached, and everything felt 10 degrees cooler. She pushed herself up, she didn’t need Papy worrying about her.
Sans watched as the colors swirled around her in a dizzying array. Already this is a wonderful start to a day. She braced herself as she stood and waited for her vision to return to normal. She pulled on a sweater then her hoodie over her pajama top, and picked a skirt that would cover her sleep shorts. Why waste the energy taking her pajamas off? She was already ill, no need to exert more energy than needed.
Sans went downstairs to grab something to eat. She made herself some toast and shoved it in her pocket. When questioned by her sister on this the small skeleton replied “I will eat it at the sentry station, don’t worry sis, I want to make you proud.” Internally Sans cringed at how easy the lies came. Her magic felt wrong, and knew that if she ate, it would come back as ectoplasmic vomit. The sole reason she was going to her post today is to stop her sister from worrying.
Sans walked out the door deaf to whatever protests her sister may have and shortcutted. She missed her sentry station and ended up at the ruins door. “Heh, maybe he will be here today” She muttered to herself catching her reflection in an icicle. Her cheeks were dusted with blue, from blush or fever the girl didn’t know.
She knocked twice on the door, and waited for a response. “Who’s there” a masculine voice replied.
“Adore” She responded too eagerly
“Adore who?” The man seemed genuinely curious as to how this joke will go.
“A-door is between us” She smirked. The man behind the door exploded into howls of laughter. His laughter was so infectious that Sans started laughing along with him. Quickly the laughter turned to harsh coughs, after the coughs were heavy pants as she felt herself exhausted from what little she exerted. He was saying something to her but she couldn’t make out what he was saying. “I’m fine” She hastily slurred before darkness began to swim into her vision. She heard the sound of a large door scraping the ground as her world faded to black.
Sans awoke in an unfamiliar place. There was a large man that she didn’t recognize seated infront of her with a worried expression. “Who are you” the skeleton questioned with a rasp.
“I am Toriel the caretaker of the ruins, you are very sick, why did you go out in the snow to talk to an old man like me?”
She chuckled when the man said he was old. He looked like a very attractive man in his thirties. "Didn’t wanna worry anyone. i’m sans.“ She blushed. This was the man behind the door and she could honestly say her crush had increased ten food after seeing him.
"Well Ms. Sans you did a poor job of causing anyone worry, for I worried about your wellbeing. You are welcome to stay until you are well, or I could carry you home.” Toriel stated plainly. Neither option particularly appealed to Sans as both would Papyrus to worry, however her faced heated at the thought of being in the Goat Monster’s arms.
“Carry me,” She mumbled softly avoiding eye contact with the other.
With what seemed like practiced ease Sans was lifted off the bed and carried in the arms of Toriel. She couldn’t help but notice she was enveloped in warmth when he lifted her up, it was comforting. She didn’t want to fall asleep in his arms, but instead enjoy every second of this. As she was gently pressed against his chest, she listened to his rythmic soul-beats. Part of her wished they could stay like this forever.
All too soon they were back at her home in Snowdin, and Sans could hear her sister was skittering around looking for her. “Thank you Tor” she whispered, to the goat monster before he rapped on the skele-sisters house.
The tell-tale sounds of Papy running to get the door filled the air around them. “Who is it?” The tall skeleton asked as she pulled open the front door. Sand could see the shock on her sister’s face. It probably stemmed from the fact that a very tall monster was holding her sick sister.
“Hello, I am helping your sister back home. I hope you don’t mind that I come in?”
“Not at all, but I will take her now,” the sister said with a small bit of possession.
The goat nodded and gave the skeleton in his arms a small peck on her cheek before giving her to the taller one’s care. Sans smiled shyly at the kiss. Her sister’s arms lulling her to sleep. Overall this was a good day she decided before accepting sleep’s loving embrace.
