Kennyo is a optimistic person, and while he isn’t always bursting with sheer joy, you wont find him depressed very often.

There are many things that keep him happy, but nothing more than worshiping Amida, and helping others. The thought of improving someone else’s life for the better makes him feel good.

Send ␛ for an ANGER headcanon.

Kennyo isn’t an easy person to make angry, but that doesnt mean he’s incapable of anger, his lifestyle just makes him more equipped to deal with said emotion.

There are a few things that can get Kennyo very angry though. The slaughter of innocent people, the unjust harm of those close to him, or the slander of Amida to name a few.

If there is anything that bugs Kennyo more than anything, its when people make mention of his baldness, in regards to a teasing or negative nature.

For most, its understandable that people would question his lack of hair, but for Kennyo, he honestly doesnt see why people have to be so observant about it. (but I honestly admit its funny sometimes LOL)

ANYWAYS..

One would probably think Kennyo isn’t the type for love,and they’d be mostly right, at least with his current state.

At the current moment in time, Kennyo has pretty much no time for love, or sex. His duties as Abbot, and his devotion to Amida prevent him from consciously engaging in such things.

In the past though, that is a different story.

When he was younger, before the fall of Ishiyama Honganji, Kennyo had a ‘wife’. During that time, you could say he believed in love, and he saw no hindrance in it. For Kennyo, his duties as Abbot always came first, before anything, even his wife, but that didn’t stop him from caring about her, at least until she was killed by Nobunaga’s men.

The death of his wife reshaped the way Kennyo saw love from that point on. In his eyes, he just didn’t think it was worth it to love anyone, for the pain that could be brought on him, or the person he cared about was too much bare.
