One Tree Hill is and will always be my favorite TV show. It's made a lasting impact on me and still continues to be a driving force in my life. I created these four works of art; three were done a decade ago and one just last year (excuse me if the three are unpolished, they're pre-art school). The painting I made of Peyton Sawyer has always been a favourite of mine and looking at it now, I view it in a different but very fitting light. When I was younger I fell in love with OTH and all the characters. I wanted to be like them. I wanted to have Peyton's passion for art and music, Brooke's strength and forgiving nature, Haley's compassion and undying love and Mia's honesty and bravery. I looked up to these characters and especially the actresses who breathed life into their characters. It is disheartening to know what the OTH women (and Royals women) have gone through. I commend, send love to and truly respect these women for displaying such immense bravery, strength and courage. It is comforting to know that the OTH/Royals men were there for their OTH/Royals sisters to support and stand with them. I too stand with them. Although the idea of OTH may have been a seed planted by one person, it took a whole community, a family if you will, of people (cast, crew and fans) to make it blossom, bloom and grow into the greatness it is today. One Tree Hill will always be, "The place where everything's better and everything's safe," because of these wonderful human beings. Thank you OTH women for standing up and burning it down and OTH Men for supporting them. 💚 💜 @joylenz @hilarieburton @sophiabush @katevoegele @jameslafferty @chadmurray15 @robertearlbuckley @therealshantel @daphnezuniga @kramergirl @bryangreenberg @leenorris34 @antwontanner2214 @michaelamcmanus @austinnichols @stephencolletti @torreydevitto 🙌 ✊ 👆 #OTHWomen #BelieveWomen #BurnItDownSis #FuckYourSorry #MeToo #OneTreeHill #OTHSisters #IStandWithThem #BeBetter #OTHFamily
