this fic made mw cry so much it is so so beautiful and so so devastating . It left me thinking about it for so long rethinking everything and just… under shock. i can’t stop recommending it and before I even finished it i knew i want to learn and bind it and did the minute I had time

Its not perfect, but it’s a labor of love.

This doc by ArmoredSuperHeavy was a lot of help too and i recommend it as a starting point.

it was a learning process, i deffo made a bunch of mistakes but I learned a lot.

I’ll be having a good day and then I’ll remember Wasps in Winter is a fanfic for a sub fandom and it isn’t even remotely as popular as some of the other fics in said sub fandom, so therefore I can’t just talk about it whenever I want 😔

Art Heist, Baby! by @otrtbs

🎨🚔 This was my contribution to the #BeGayDoCrimeExchange hosted by me, @moonybinding and @/celestialmoonbindery (with explicit permission from the author)

I wanted this to look like a case file, and built a pocket into the cover to hold the following evidence: 🔎 3 stolen pieces of art 📌 An ad for a "lucrative" job 🎨 Paintings purchased at auction 🚨 Info sheets on suspects ( art by @blackthornwine ) 🖼️ Museum blueprints I just HAD to make Sirius' badge too. The phone number on the ad spells out "James Potter," and the case number on the cover spells "Art Heist". And you know the pink sticky notes needed a cameo. This was really fun to make and I tried a bunch of new things – building the pocket, using grommets for the tie, and partially insetting the fasteners into the boards. The wrap was a task, but I adore how this turned out! This fic is definitely worth the time put into this. If you haven't read AHB, you're missing out. This was bound with explicit permission from the author. They require individual binding permissions. Respect author policies, and keep fanfic free!
