We are proud to announce two different sound installation at Tampere exhibition for summer 2021.
First one name is Kuoro (A choir) and contains 21 silent yet dancing speakers on a wall. It is kinetic electromagnetic motor, sound installation. A choreographic composition for a iconic item. Now the moving cone makes it only visible, you can hear only mechanical sound from movement.
Another installation is called Laulu (A song) contains two huge copper masks. It has living floral roof that grow over the summer. They signify an ancient continuum for Otso Lähdeoja and Juhana Nyrhinen: man has always created anthropomorphic images and asked about the purpose of existence and the mystery of life. Speaker is kinetic and the mouth or throat and is most part mute, referring to encrypted information, the incomprehensibility of life, and oracles. It is like a vortex that attracted the viewer.
