          otto did not need to get drunk. the last time he’d gotten drink, it had been a disaster and he tended to make a complete fool of himself whenever he did get drunk. besides, he’d started a betting pool with someone—he couldn’t remember who—on what person would make the biggest scene here at the memorial. he needed to stay sober to see the events of the evening unfold. someone had to cause a scene at some point. however, when he looked over and spotted mina, he couldn’t help grinning. “hello, my dear friend,” he said, smile on his face. “am i the only one waiting for something interesting to happen?”
