i’m not sure how many people are interested, but i’m in the process of customising some of the once upon a zombie dolls, and i hadn’t seen any uploads of their sculpts anywhere so i thought i’d share them here since i’m stripping them anyway

this is ariel’s (she’s just called the little mermaid in the branding, i assume due to licensing issues)

i haven’t really had a good look at comparing the sculpts so i’m not sure if they share the same ones or not, guess i’ll see when i get around to the others lol

anyway here’s a post of all the character designs / concept art i could find for once upon a zombie that never got made into dolls. pics / commentary under the cut

zombie peter pan. this boy was on the back of alice’s box as “coming soon” and guess what? he never did.

zombie little red riding hood.

zombie aladdin. i’m confused as to why he looks like a child though. is this art supposed to be a kind of chibi style rather than indicating the characters are children?? if that’s the case why are only children drawn in it??? i have questions

zombie prince charming. whose prince charming? is this an into the woods type situation? the world may never know. 

zombie queen of hearts (yes alice was a doll, but i can’t find a picture of the qoh on her own, so). 

zombie snow queen supposedly coming “next year” but the website i found this on said this was posted in 2016, so.

zombie jack and the beanstalk. 

zombie hansel and gretal. i wonder if these two would’ve been a two-pack?

zombie pinocchio. there is a prototype of this doll out there, but it’s frankly terrifying and so i didn’t include pics on this post. google it at your own risk.

zombie dorothy, who only exists on the cover of this book.

a character who is either pochahontas or tiger lily, i’m not sure. tbh i have my fingers crossed it’s tiger lily because pochahontas was a LITERAL CHILD and making a dead zombie doll of her feels...even grosser than disney’s movie, tbh. plus, she was in a lot of pics with peter and tink, so.

zombie tinker bell.

zombie tenika, who is apparently from the princess and the pea, but still manages to look kind of like a zombie version of tiana. tbh i’m shocked disney didn’t sue them (or maybe they just sent them a cease and desist, and that’s why this doll line died)

zombie pirates. was this a separate line? if it’s not, why isn’t bluebeard, a famous fairy-tale pirate there? if it is, why’s hook there as he ties into the fairy tale line re: peter pan. i have a lot of questions. one of which is where is zombie wendy? the story isn’t about pan or hook, it’s about wendy, but i digress.

I liked the Once Upon a Zombie dolls.  It was a neat idea, and I liked their hand sculpts and gangly arms.

the once upon a zombie dolls i got. their bodies are like thicker monster high dolls. if their feet were gonna be bare though i wish they would have made them flat? but they’re really pretty anyway. too bad about the stand though

so i got a once upon a zombie doll and the stand base was missing but i can’t figure out where the heckie to go to contact customer ervice about it. wowwee acts like they never sold them but thats where it says to go on the box. anyone else know where to go?

i got zombie Alice in the mail today, shes so cute!! but i think ill re-do her pigtails they lump up weird in the back
