Another thing that will happen is that Naoya will try to make his new wife a little similar to you.
That's when you'll hear Naoya suggesting her to add more salt to the food, as you used to cook it that way. He also says that she should grew/cut her hair (hoping it'll be like yours); he will also give her the perfume you used to wear and similar kimonos to your own (not the ones you used to wear. he has those in his closet along with his clothes). He's also going to suggest for her to change her speech so her voice will more like yours. Sometimes, if he gained the habit of drinking after your death, he will outright tell her that she needs to be more like you, as you were the perfect wife. He does this so he can create his little fantasy of still having you by his side.
Naoya will not handle the death of his loved one gracefully. It's the only time you will see him straight up depressed, unwilling to do certain things and also fixating on the past. He will embellish things and make them see as if you were perfect, even when you were not.
