what’s really solidified my emotions on this is that she looks so happy - she loves this club and the fans and it’s the club of her life, you can’t take that away.
but the weight and the pressure got too much and after everything she’s done she’s allowed to choose herself for once. that’s what makes it so right because it has been the perfect story and she’s left it at a happy ending rather than ending it completely burnt out. the queen doesn’t wear the crown all the time because it’s too heavy - alexia’s worn it for so many years she deserves a break and i’m glad she’s chosen this for herself, putting her needs before anyone else’s for the first time.
everyone should be allowed to save themself and she’s done that, you would rather leave whilst you still love it than stay and begin to hate it.
