@ouraniatm inquired: ❝ Can you put the crib together? I’m so tired. ❞ ouraniatm, to idia

“Completion 100%, I already did it~” came the bluenette’s response--but with his big grin and near mad genius look on his face, it was clear that he didn’t do it in a traditional way. Idia and Cora were going to have the crib ordered and put together themselves, but Idia had a different idea in mind. So, he told her that he bought the crib, but that was actually just to buy him some time to finish preparations on his newest work of genius.
Giddy with excitement to show off his latest creation, he rushed over to the far wall in their room and pressed a button cleverly disguised as an outlet. The sleek wall shifted, a rectangular section being split in two before opening up in opposite ways like sliding doors. From within the wall came a black crib, which was then pushed into the room before the sliding walls closed up again as if nothing had happened. Idia giggled excitedly, dashing towards the bed to grab Cora’s hands before pulling her over to the crib--maybe he was a bit too excited, but who could blame him?
“Hehehe, I’ve been using my break time over the past two months to make this~ Look! Look!! The crib itself looks like it’s made of black metal, but it’s actually made from black polyester fiber sheets to prevent injury hits their head on it!! It has tons of features that can be controlled with a tech plane--just press this button on this keychain and you can open it anywhere in STYX. But look!! It’s stationary, but if you press this button, the rubber stoppers on the legs are retracted and replaced with wheels so we can move this easily between our room and the baby’s room! Oh, and this button will rock the crib gently, and you can set it to a specific speed!! There’s a monitor installed and multiple cameras for different viewpoints. The mattress itself records the position the baby is sleeping in, as well as their breathing, and will shift to promote maximum breathing efficiency!! Oh, and watch this!!”
He tapped the wall, opening up a holographic dashboard for the settings of the room before tapping the hologram to turn off the lights. He then used the crib’s own hologram screen--from the keychain he mentioned earlier--and pressed a button. Between the bars of the crib, a gentle blue light illuminated. Idia grinned widely, his blue locks seeming especially bright with his excitement. “And there’s a nightlight!!”
