nearly falling asleep on a park bench certainly wasn’t loki’s best idea, but this was far from the first time it had happened.  they’re only roused from their rest when someone stops in front of them, clearly blocking the sun, and they look up at the other for a few seconds before closing their eyes again.  “i don’t really need a personal sunshield,” they begin, “but you’re welcome to continue standing there.”

    chloe rolled her eyes lightly as she looked up at the person that had started speaking. it was her first shift. she loved working on cars. it was her comfort place. she pressed her lips together and forced a smile, “what can i do for you?”

“what?  have you never seen a grown man knitting before?” klaus asks, sparing a short glance upward.  it’s a stretch to call what he’s doing knitting - sure, the needles and yarn are there, but there seems to be no end product in sight, mostly it’s all just a mess.  the diner probably hadn’t been the medium’s best choice for his attempts, but it beat staying cooped up.  “you can sit if that’s what you’re after,” klaus says with a nod to the seat opposite him, “it won’t even cost you anything.”

felicia knew she needed to make friends. first couple weeks she’d kept to herself. she realised that was actually really lonely. she took a breath in and looked at the person in front of her, “listen, i don’t do this but i’m pretty sure i need to make friends. i guess. you looking for someone who will help you get anything and you want? cause if so, i’m your girl.”

harley was more than entertained with her business. she loved doing tattoos with professional equipment. it was way different than stick and poke. the woman lifted her head as she heard the bell on the door, “welcome. what can i do for ya?” she asked the other person, tilting her head to the side as she waited for the their response.

Was Hinata impulsive? Yes. Did this apply to his purchases as well? Yes. So when Hinata passed by a toy store, with a bright orange alien stuffed animal in the window, he knew he had to get it. 

Hinata walked out of the shop, stuffed animal gripped in his arms, wiggling around like an excited puppy, rubbing the soft fabric in his hands. 

“Isn’t he the cutest?? I think I’m in love!! Now I just need to name him!”

the slap of a volleyball hitting the floor reverberated around the gym, and tooru sent an angry pout to the place it had landed. he was practicing, trying to get his mind off the letter he’d received, but it wasn’t working that well - and to make matters worse, all his serves were off.  he grabs another ball from the cart, tosses it up, hits it - and it lands with force before bouncing back up, heading to the door.  the door that someone seems to have just entered through.  “sorry,” he calls over, forcing a cheer he didn’t actually feel into his voice. “can i help you, or are you just here to watch?”
