i’ve constructed my version of baekdo where they keep going. i refuse to accept the ending, no matter how many people are willing to forgive the ending to preserve the integrity of this show for themselves.

my season 2 is a sort of alternate version of our beloved summer and it’s so beautiful. i won’t get into details here but i might write a list of plot points or try writing it out. (no promises >_<)

additionally, if anyone has not watched our beloved summer and is still stuck on 2521, i would heavily recommend watching it. it’s another beautiful coming of age romance show where the characters actually stick the ending. it has payoff and the characters complete their arcs. it makes you feel better at the end, not like your brain is going to pop.

Our Beloved Summer

One of my fave scenes was when Yeonsu have decided what she really wants to do and told her grandmother that she realized she has been following since then what her heart really wants and she wasn’t alone in those times she’s struggling because she has friends. I love how the times were flashed back; Sol-i was always there, her manager, her colleagues and Ung <3 I cried a lot in that realization, I was satisfied with her decision, I am proud of her character development.

Second, was when Ung at last told her the “I love you”.. I am in a long distance relationship, and I can relate how hard being in that kind of relationship and receiving affirmation from your loved one can make your love grows even more. I felt the love between them.

PS. I am shipping NJ to Ji-ung! Huhu <3
