I’m pretty excited guys, my mom’s got a friend who wants to travel more so she’s giving her flock of hens to us. They’re all exotics, plus a bunch of easter eggers, and there’s one massive blue cochin in her flock named Blue. It’s kind of bittersweet for me, because I just lost my black cochin pullet named Blue, but I can’t wait to meet all these chickens. I might post pictures tomorrow.

Covering the ground in a white trail

Such fluffy snow

So soft

So cold

Wet

It makes no sound underfoot

Such lovely snow

Such a clear trail

I can feel memories as it touches my fingers

Strange snow

Snow isn't usually dappled with blood.
