#OurRunningClothes 011 Drops Hooded commemorating 88 Seoul Paralympics, the origin of the modern Paralympics and the symbol designer Sung Nak-hoon will be dropped at 11 am on Apr 19, 2018. - About The First Symbol of Paralympics The symbol of the 88 Seoul Paralympics is the first internationally recognized Paralympic symbol. In 1988, The International Coordinating Committee(ICC) took the work of the Korean designer Sung Nak-hoon as the first symbol of #Paralympics. It was an event to celebrate in Korean design community. However, when the news was released, the designer Sung Nak-hoon had already passed away. He died at the age of 29 by gas poisoning, because he fell asleep in his room while using briquettes to dry the model for repairing the National Museum of Korea. It was the unfortunate death of a young man who stood firmly in the path of a designer despite opposition of the house. It happened in September 1985 which was about three years before #88SeoulParalympic Games opening.(Seoul, Korea에서)
