How do they say thank you/show appreciation?
Eva is pretty well-mannered and will say "thanks" as the situation calls....but she does do things to express gratitude/appreciation. This ranges from sneakily putting a nice bottle of liquor in someone's luggage to showing up at a bar fight at just the right time. Eva always pays her debts and tries to make things right as soon as she can: she doesn't believe in "redemption arcs" or the universe being a self-balancing sort, where everything works out. She backs up her words with actions, because she's here for a good time, not a long time.
How do they say good morning?
Eva is a night person -- gambler, starship captain that does her own 3 am maintenance, smuggler who makes drop in the small hours to avoid being caught by the Port Authority. She doesn't do good mornings. But she can make it suck less.
Customarily, on Virtue's Thief, Eva turns on the caf maker every morning and ensures everyone has a cup to start the day. She does that for the crew. She does that for Theron when he starts sleeping over.
