dragging her to nevermore academy was treacherous. wednesday will hold this grudge against her parents for the rest of her life. to throw her inside that penitentiary means that she’s a criminal, deserving of its fate. usually, she’d be flattered but not in this scenario. the lone raven is caged, batting her wings brings no outcome. just a waste of time and energy. so wednesday does what she knows best – she inspects her surroundings, to get familiar, to plan her escape. after enid’s introduction, she takes a stroll around the academy, watching the cliques closely by.
she takes mental notes of everything there is. up until her kubrick stare meets a familiar face. one that brings bittersweet memories. walking up to the other, she states, “chances are low, but above zero. are my eyes deceiving me or is that you, demi?” lips are parted, her mind must be playing tricks on her. or, perhaps, her mother did think it through and not throw her in there without a chance at surviving it with familiar help. or in this case, familial. “haven’t seen you in forever and that is a very long time. how did you end up here, do your mothers enjoy torturing you here?”
