JJ meeting your parents | Headcanons

He’d be nervous to say the least.

He didn’t want to say something stupid and mess everything up for the two of you.

But he’d hold himself together after you reassured him everything was gonna be fine

“JJ, I promise you they’re gonna like you.”

Your parents were sorta strict.

They didn’t usually like your boyfriends.

This only made him more nervous.

The two of you would meet your parents at a restaurant.

JJ would dress up a little bit. (not too much tho)

At first, it would be kinda awkward.

But once your dad got a conversation going, everything went smoothly.

JJ and your father got along real well.

They talked about fishing the entire time.

While they had their own conversation, you and your mom talk about “girl stuff,” as JJ would call it.

And after you were all done eating, you hung out at your place. 

Your parents talked about adult stuff while you and JJ watched a movie and cuddled in your room.

The door wasn’t shut though.

Your dad made sure of it.

“I have good hearing. I know when you shut the door.” He would say.

You and JJ would just laugh.

JJ’s face went a little pink. 

He would let you know that he had a great time.

And you would smile.

Once JJ had to go home, you would spend some time talking to your parents.

“I like that one. He’s a good boy.”

Okay so this is short. But I liked the concept and wanted to post it.

Telling JJ that you’re pregnant | Headcanons

A/N: So um I had this idea and this might be short but like I don’t really care lmao

You and JJ had hooked up at some party while you were both drunk.

But you never really told anyone due to the whole “no pogue on pogue macking” rule.

After that, you both never really talked about it. 

But you were both aware that it happened.

And then a month passed, and you were supposed to get your period.

But it never came.

Also, you noticed that you’ve been real emotional and have been getting sick a lot lately.

So your mind automatically put two and two together. 

You went to the nearest gas station and picked up a couple pregnancy tests.

You took both of them.

And they both showed positive.

You were surprised because even though you knew it was gonna be positive, you still weren’t prepared.

You automatically knew it was JJ’s since you haven’t had sex with anyone else in several months.

You took a couple hours to actually process everything before you texted JJ to come over.

He was confused as to why you wanted him to come over without the rest of the pogues, but he was still willing to make up some excuse to suddenly leave the group.

You would just start out by asking him,

“That night we slept together. Do you remember using protection?” 

He would look at you weird before shrugging. 

“No, I don’t know. Why do you ask?”

“I think I might be pregnant.”

“You think?”

“Well, I know. I took two tests and they were both positive.”

He would just stare at you, having not really processed any of this yet.

So you waited to see his reaction.

“When did you find this out?”

“Earlier today.”

He stayed quiet again, still trying to process everything.

“I’m gonna be a dad?”

He would say with a smile.

Which made you smile as well.

“I don’t know how we’re gonna explain this to the pogues.”

“We can tell them together.”

Pope Dating JJ’s Sister | Headcanons

Haven’t seen anyone do this yet, and I thought it was a good concept so.

Your relationship started with Pope crushing on you.

Like for a long time.

He finally asked you out when JJ and John B were both passed out and Kie had went on home, so the two of you were the only ones in the living room.

He was acting so awkward as he asked you.

“Will y- Do you wanna, maybe, go out? To dinner- or something?”

You thought it was cute though.

Date night went great.

He took John B’s boat, and you both drove out to the marsh.

You had to make the first move because he didn’t know when the right time was.

You went a few weeks hiding your relationship from the pogues (mostly because of the “no pogue on pogue macking rule”)

When you did end up telling them, you were surprised that none of them were upset.

They were glad the two of you found someone.

JJ wasn’t really mad.

He would rather you date one of his friends than a kook.

He wasn’t too protective because he trusted that Pope wouldn’t break your heart.

But that didn’t stop him from teasing the two of you.

Like when he walks in on you two kissing. 

“Get your hands off my sister.”

Or when you two are alone in the guest bedroom at the chateau, and he’s about to walk in.

“You two better be clothed.”

You two don’t really do pda. Neither of you were really into that.

But if you do, it would just be little stuff like hand-holding or quick kisses on the cheek.

His dad was glad you two started dating.

He already liked you to begin with.

You were the only one of Pope’s friends that didn’t get him into trouble (besides Kie maybe)

Heyward knew you were good for his son.

And JJ knew Pope was good for his sister.

In fanfics the guy is always happy to be a father when the girl gets pregnant when they're like 17 but if I were a guy and my girlfriend got pregnant at that age I would be terrified and angry if she refused to get and abortion. Even if the child is not wanted by the father (if he did not want to have one in the first place but accidents happen) he still has to pay for child support which is totally unfair lmaoooo

Ok yeah I get what you’re saying. I wrote the headcanons really quickly and didn’t think about all of that. I guess naturally I just made him react positively? I didn’t really plan beforehand either. I’m sorry I didn’t make it realistic enough. Like I said before, it was rushed and wasn’t well thought out.
