these are really miscellaneous sprites @outertalegame but they were really fun to make
some other sprites! @outertalegame san’s room was a pain in the ass. every single pixel is a different color and then it just loops around. it was good practice though. i included an autumn dog and also the dog that’s chewing the bone during papy’s fight- yeah, it’s supposed to be that large (there’s a large one and a small one).
Holy crap!!! That’s a lot of sprites! I didn’t mean to overload you with too many @outertalegame also we should really decide on which bandana/hip star thing we’re gonna go with because that’s most of the sprites here are just dog variations. i’m dedicated, though. I’m thinking maybe the one with no hip star but a bandana star? but i like no star a lot, too...

I'm thinking the first phone call Gaster makes to Frisk is when they're standing at the Core View in Hotland after Alphys calls them. (Although you can call him before this)

these are some of the npcs and some that i really just felt like doing i can’t find mettaton’s diaries anywhere unfortunately (so many sprites!) but I did napstablook’s room! edit: napsta’s room IS the right size, it just looks weird when you upload it on tumblr
To answer your question: I figure they simply want to return to earth, their home they were torn away from. I imagine they also want to explore the Galaxy, which they cannot do because of the EM field. Also, the Ebott Quadrant is also very overpopulated, much like the Underground in Undertale.
//hmm…i guess that make sense. I wouldn’t want to go back the Earth but that’s just cause I’m a space lover and I’d love to explore the Galaxy. So i guess it would kinda suck.
a few smaller sprites and mettatons room- again, i tried to base it around a sunset. the annoying dog has many sprites so i might do them a few times (as they are weirdly one of my favorites). might do blooky’s next @outertalegame
