Two years earlier, she’d already directed a few scenes during season seven, uncredited. Directing an entire episode had been her quiet dream for a very long time. Almost a tribute to Claire and Jamie themselves. Now her dream had come true. The atmosphere on set was lovely. Everyone adored working with her. It was a comfortable, safe environment. And Sam knew it.

8.02 thoughts and prayers (I don’t have too many)

NOT THE BEAR. Rip Amy. I do feel like this was unnecessary in the book and the show but i knew they were gonna keep it in there because of course they were. Also rip to my weird crush on Joanne Thompson.

Ok William ‘as the only representative of the Grey family’ Ransom…NOW you decide you’re gonna claim that name? When you looked in your papa’s face and said ‘it is certainly not Grey’?! Ugh I love this child but he tests me I swear.

But also, proud of William I feel like he’s doing a little better than last week, I guess the egg and brandy really did work wonders.

LOVE seeing Henry and Ben with William!

‘Who’s going to hold her when you’re gone’ you know Jamie was busy thinking about John just then. It’s literally canon.
