I stopped watching season 1 at the point where Jamie was going to be sodomized. The book was very sadly and disturbingly graphic about that episode. Is the TV version any less so? -I'd just as soon not watch if it's just as graphic.

I wouldn’t watch it. I found the show version of this scene much harder to get through. Well acted, but graphic, probably unnecessarily so. I’m usually able to watch anything and not be too affected, but I couldn’t watch it more than once.

Hello, where can I see this new deleted clip? I cannot find it anywhere. Thank you.

I haven’t seen it/found it yet either anon. I think it’s on the new blu ray release and someone has giffed it from that, rather than it being released by Starz like the bloopers and other scenes.

I’d love to see it in full too! Made me go a bit teary eyed for J/C :)

Thanks! I’ll be forever sad that we never got more of baby Bree in the books, and that of course Jamie missed out on that :(

Anon, I just wanted to let you know I haven’t forgotten you! It’s just that this started life as an older Jamie/Bree thing and then I decided to do a younger Bree thing (cos, you know, CUTE!). And I was thinking about the backstory of how that could happen, and, well, it just turned into something else and I’m still working on it. Just wanted to let you know I wasn’t ignoring the prompt!
