((Elaboration/Rambling on Bellona’s Fables Verse under the cut.))

So as I’ve previously stated on my verses page, Bellona in this universe has no relation to The Big Bad Wolf a.k.a. Bigby. Instead she’s the kid of the Wolf from Wolf in Sheep’s clothing and is a first generation fable born in the mundy. She’s only a teenager, so she has barely a fraction of the experience that most Fables have. Her father, on the other hand, had years and years of living in the Mundy world. He was a pretty accomplished thief(though he did get caught occasionally), and passed along some of these skills to Bellona. So when he and her mother died, Bellona was left on her own to fend for herself the only way she knew how: Stealing.

Until a year ago when something(that I haven’t thought of yet) happened that basically forced her to come live in Fabletown as an emancipated minor. She’s still adjusting to her new life, and has a lot of issues with authority. However, she has respect for Bigby since he is a fellow wolf and about the closest thing she’s come to a father figure type she’s come across since her parents passed. Of course, that doesn’t mean her behavior is all that much better around him, she seems to annoy him more than anything. And she would never admit to feeling that way either.

((I wanted to elaborate a little on the idea of Mirror Golems.

As the name implies they are made using a mirror. Specifically, they are made from the reflection of whoever the spellcaster wants to copy. You need the physical form of this person or it won’t work, as the mirror captures a hint of their essence which is needed for the golem to be brought to life. Aside from their eyes(which have no life in them), mirror golems look exactly like the original, unless the golem is injured. When injured, it becomes even more obvious that they are made of glass as their form splinters like it. But golems aren’t necessarily evil, it depends on the spellcaster and their purpose. Golems have all the memories and personality traits of the original, but these can be altered to make them behave a certain way. They are typically created with a single purpose in mind, and they will use any means necessary to complete it. If they can not, they will shatter apart.
