So here’s what’s going down with me

TL;DR: Finals wrecked my insomniac ass for half of summer vacation, work took up most of my time, and I will be publishing a book while returning to school. Also I will be coming back! :P

For those who didn't know - which I now realize might be most of the people who follow this account - last semester I finished my bachelor's degree (essentially, I had to publish a book as a final project, I have another post on here for anyone interested). For anyone involved in RP, it goes without saying how much writing can become time consuming for a more-or-less grand result.

Being that I had other classes and work, my sleep schedule took the sidelines. Really, I've been an insomniac since 9th grade and I'd been pushing myself HARD. For most of the semester, I would sleep 5-6 days; which lowered to 3-4 days/week as the semester went on.

You can pretty easily guess where this is going. I fell ill. Many times. I must've missed all in all a week's worth of work (working part-time that translates to more or less two weeks spread out across the month of may).

I've been working mostly full time since; average 35 hours a week, at a reallyyyyy shitty place. I've not worked on any of my fics, or even posted that much on my art platforms, but!

I got a book deal! That's right, with a PUBLISHER!!! I'm currently working on the final points before he sends me the contract and I'll officially publish my first book professionally!!!! (For details, send an ask or PM, or hmu on discord!)

I just wanted to give you guys an update. I miss this, so, so much, but life had some hurdles I needed to jump. I will be going back to school coming September, to work on a degree in 3D Animation; but I've made sure to limit work to 15 hours a week to make time formy book and hobbies. Expect me to return for at least 1 day a week!

I finally got my book today! I'm so proud, I PUBLISHED something! It has an ISBN and its going into the national archives! I'll share the post later today after my shift

Since next semester I should have two things I didn't so far (a job much closer to home, and less days at school every week), expect me to drop in here again! I wanted to rp during winter break, except we didn't have wifi until yesterday (we are today emvarking on a 3-day drive to see me sister off). But I will be back, I miss you guys <3

Here’s Jou’s apartment, or well... Attic. For those who don’t know, Jou - in most of my verses - lives above a convenience store; in a space made into a studio apartment. Rent is cheap because it’s a seedy part of town, and the owner knows him.

There’s next to no storage; and Jou sleeps on a couch, because of course he does. There’s always a huge mess about the place, but I couldn’t put that in the room builder, so.
