     [ okay, so I get images are pretty much public domain when they're posted on the internet and of course no one has a claim over someone's face but it pretty disrespectful to take someone's icons. sometimes people crop 'em and boom. other times, people put a lot of effort into them. there are some people are really proud of, you know? if someone outside the roleplay community takes your icons then that's one thing, but if you're roleplaying the same character and they take your icons they might as well take your headcanons. okay, so we don't create the characters or their images or anything, but we put our perspective and our dedication to our writings and if you respect that as a roleplayer, you should respect the perspective and dedication people into creating icons. just saying. ]
