(( Yes hello I’m very well aware that I’m in the middle of plot and that this seriously breaks the flow of what I’m doing but I may as well toss this out now;

I’m well into the next milestone and wanna open up some auditions for voicing characters on this blog! I’m feeling a bit burnt out from doing so much plot in a row but I realized that the time for some more immersive updates will come soon, so I figured, why not open it up now while I have other things sorted?

Now, despite what I said earlier, this won’t be a contest; just a plain ol’ audition for anyone that’s willing to try!

I have the following characters listed with their name, description of their voice’s tone, as well as a directional voice sample. Right now I’m only needing four voices, soooo here!

Momoko: Stern, mature, collected, graceful, but can sound harsh at a moment’s notice to emphasize her otherwise rash tendencies. Strong-willed.

Voice Direction Sample: Lucina from FE: Awakening (yes I’m aware there are other more fitting characters out there but for the life of me I can’t think of any others aheheh). A bit of Say’ri could also apply.

Nori: Composed, somewhat deep, articulate, but can also be quite firm and self-righteous. Can be hard on himself, and thus stresses his voice under these scenarios..

Voice Direction Sample: Yusuke from Persona 5

Kari: Soft, sweet, somewhat high-pitched, lovable. A very gentle tone that’s easy to listen to.

Voice Direction Sample: Mint Adenade from Tales of Phantasia

Keiko: Sly, mischievous, seemingly friendly and upbeat, but also has a conniving, low-ish, somewhat unnerving slant to her tone that makes her sound a little unsure to be around while still sounding impish.

Voice Direction Sample:Jean from No More Heroes (as suggested by @askbohemiancompany though I’m sure other samples could be more fitting! )

Anyone who is interested in voicing any of these characters please hit me up on DM (or Discord if you have me on there or want to add me) and I can provide some voice lines you can try and will be saying! And yes, I’ll still be holding up my end for offering something back as thanks for participation for those that I accept as the roles!

(( Hmm, so it seems like this one update may need to be delayed...))

(( Just missing a few things before I can complete the work.

... But in the meantime, I think I’ll proceed with some other posts for new developments and have interactions open again. Honestly it’s not a big deal, it’s just some small sequence breaking, I can always tag an ‘earlier’ note on the big update itself for clarity once I get it done and posted pfft

(( Hmm so, it’ll be a while when I reach my next follower milestone... ))

(( ... so I was wondering, rather than do a mere giveaway, I was thinking more along the lines of a contest?

Specifically... a voice-acting contest/audition sorta deal?

I’m still working out all the kinks and details, but basically it’ll go like this:

- I’ll list the characters, describe how their voices must be like, and provide several voice lines for the followers to try.

- It’ll be set to one character per mun that tries, as I want everyone to have a try and not hog roles.

- There will be rewards for those that do the best job! The prizes will be art related, the main winners getting some fairly nicely detailed pics while there will be two runners-up for each character who’ll get a choice of either fullbody lineart or an icon, whichever they choose. Still thinking more about the runners-up prizes, so don’t consider those final juuuust yet.

Why? Well not only because I think it’d be fun, not only because I think it’d be a neat sort of milestone event for the blog, BUT... as I make more video updates, I’d like to have some voice acting done more often. Help bring the updates and characters to life more, plus voice acting is something that lots of people would be able to do. ^^
