but, I could see a plot possibly in your MODERN! VERSE where william is a traveling musician with some orchestra or he’s really down on his luck & he’s stuck in kansas city trying to find work & he runs into libby day. like all those BAD STARTERS in terms of rude interactions or “ i saw you’re shoplifting and i was all WTF BRUH?” etc I could see happening between these two.
