Hi everyone! I feel I must explain my lack of activity on here as I know I was trying to come back a bit more but well, some very exciting things have happened recently! 

1. I’ve got a new job starting in a couple of weeks at the archives I work at, which will be more hours.

2. I finally braved it and have started writing a book on Anthony Woodville!! I’ve also been asked by a publisher to pass the first chapter on which has only just been started.

3. I’m actually taking some of the research I’ve done so far to academic conferences! (I can’t believe it really)

4. Some other projects like designing the exhibition on a local Jacobean House is now due to officially be opened in February/March, which means loads of organising in the meantime.

All in all, exciting times! But I will try to get on occasionally and if anyone wants to send messages, feel free. So yeah, I thought you’d all deserve and explanation as to why I’m not here as often now. I still think about you all and I’m not ignoring people, I promise! I’m just super busy at the moment.

So tomorrow is the funeral of a very close family friend who was like a second dad to me. This, as well as being busy at work, is the main reason why I’ve been inactive. Sorry for this but I kinda need space to work on more important things at the moment to help me handle with the grief. Apologies again guys.

I have a job interview tomorrow and then me, my boyfriend and my parents are off on holiday from the 4th-10th. So I won’t be back on here till after that. I’ve set up a queue for the time I’m away.

Well here's my Bosworth photos! Best of all is the one of Anthony Woodville's retinue! Got a chance to talk to some of them and they were all so encouraging for my academic research into Anthony! All in all a lovely day yesterday.

Today I finally set up a proper history blog over at  voyagerofhistory.wordpress.com. I’ve wanted to do one for a while to show what I’ve researched as there’s some good stories out there that I haven’t been able to show. Ok so going to the Bosworth battle reenactment for the first time in 4 years and whilst it sadly reminds me of the horrible way my favourite monarch, Richard III died, I'm excited for a few reasons. It'll be the first time my boyfriend has ever seen knights. It'll be the first time of seeing Anthony Woodville's reenactment group (of which I am super duper excited about as you can all probably imagine. I'll also be wearing my medieval dress if the weather permits it. So yeah expect pictures.

So anyway, as I have slightly a bit more time with a month left of my course, please like this for a starter! I’m ready to try and build up the rping side of this blog again.
