So I feel like one of her biggest truths about her she can't address, or has a hard time accepting, is that she has the potential for destructive power and aggression.
This comes from the limited information I have. I haven't fully seen the anime or read the manga. B U T I did a lot of reading and working on in-depth character learning. I ALSO thank my bestie, who is the literal RL Rukia, who helps me understand all the characters and answers my questions lol. It's hard for her to want to be aggressive or even express her emotions that are considered "negative." She has this notion that anything like that is are negative feeling, and I really feel it ties in with her brother's death. Not saying it's the sole purpose, but I feel it's a huge contributing factor as to why she wants to be kind to others and not show those negative emotions. There is some evidence about this, too, when she deals with Tsubaki. They both clash a lot in their personalities, as he is very much one of her offensive/aggressive powers, and she is very kind-natured. She has a hard time putting aggression and meaning into his attacks, which then causes him to fight and go rebellious against her. She is much more of a pacifist, so it truly does limit his power and how far he could go. I'm sure I could keep writing about it, but I think these two things just kind of show the WHY and the EVIDENCE behind it. I hope that explains my answer to your headcannon!!
