I think one of my favorite things about Cam is that they have virtually no fear

they're afraid of mice and emotional vulnerability and that's it. 

And the fact that they live with a frickin cosmetology student means they have plenty of reasons to fear

'Hey Cam can I try bleaching your hair'

'is it gonna burn my skin off?'

'probably not'

'sure let's go for it'

I stand very firmly by the idea that there is next to nothing Cam won't try at least once

world's hottest pepper? Sure let's go for it

skydiving? sounds like fun

alligator wrestling? why not

I've said it before and I'll say it so many more times, Cam's sense of self-preservation is nonexistent 

they just don't care

I need to start a headcanon tag for Cammy Cam Cam

but anyway I need to express that if you need some type of clothing

Cam has it in their closet 

EVERYTHING HIDES IN THERE

masculine clothes, feminine clothes, costumey stuff, a kilt, a few hundred graphic tees

so like if you need some sort of clothing item for whatever reason

Cam can hook you up

oops time for some rambling about Cam's backstory bc I don't want to forget I should have a tag for that

but like Cam came out to their parents as bisexual when they were like thirteen bc their parents were never really religious or conservative so they didn't think the folks would react too poorly or anything

so it's like lil thirteen year old Cam at the dinner table chowing down on mashed potatoes with their parents when like 'mom dad I'm pretty sure I'm bisexual'

and their dad just puts down his fork like 'no stop right there' 

and ofc Cam's all worried like wait is daddio homophobic is this gonna be a problem

and their dad just looks up 'you are too damn young to be doing anything sexual you hear me'

'you can be bi but just leave it there'

'spare your old man hearing my thirteen year old say the word sexual I can't handle it'

and that's how they came out about that

for the most part their parents just do not mind, as long as their lil child is healthy and happy and safe they're good, totally fine with it

and when Cam changed their name when they were like 19ish, the very day they told their parents, Cam was dubbed 'Cameroni' by their father and he still calls them that every single time without exception. 

Between the two parents, their mom gets the whole genderqueer thing less than their dad but she really tries and she's adorable in my head this sweet little lady like the cookie baking cheek pinching type mom and she is constantly trying to buy Cam clothes at like thrift stores 

basically their parents are really sweet and well meaning and love their kid no matter what and I love them k that's all

I do not expect your characters to be perfect. 

Let's just put that first and foremost mkay? 

In the real world, there is a very large portion of people who think that sex = gender and that there are only two of both of those things. If your character is one of those people, or someone who assumes gender by presentation, etcetc, I am not going to hate you for playing your character this way.

It's a case of IC =/= OOC, yeah? Y'all can be totally respectful of Cam's gender and pronouns even if your character isn't. 

no matter how your character responds to Cameron I will not hate you. 

So like please don't be afraid to role play with me bc of that. 

As long as you're respectful of me and my muse OOC, we're good, yeah?

But Cam is going to correct your muse if your muse misgenders them. Don't take that as me getting peeved at you, nobody likes getting misgendered right?

So I've had a few thoughts about Cam today

and I've decided that they were a gymnast in high school and were pretty legit at it 

not like totally awesome but p solid y'know

and they're still really flexible bc they wanted to keep up with it a little bit, so they stretch and keep the flexibility up even though it's nothing like it was when they were actually doing the do

and they have a roommate named Michael who's 26 and a cosmetology student, they don't really need the financial help or anything but Michael needed a place and Cam had the room so they could offer him p cheap rent

Michael in turn cuts Cam's hair for free and sometimes makes them dinner for when they get in late after lots of work

they watch NCIS together religiously.

I think that's all for now but y'know there are some thoughts for you

in the future I'd really like for Cam to have like an actual roommate like an actual person rather than Michael the NPC

so y'know if anyone wants to be Cam's roommate that'd be cool but for now Michael
