hey loves, tomorrow ( Sunday 3rd of September ) is Father’s Day here in Australia and I lost my dad recently and so I’m dealing with some stuff so probably won’t be on tomorrow, my apologies.

So, a little while ago I joined a group roleplay. It’s actually a grey’s anatomy group roleplay called seattlcgracehq and it’s set in the future. Now this isn’t a post about me making you join ( you totally can but it’s up to you ) but I’ve never felt more welcomed in a roleplay until I joined this one. Like you know how you join a roleplay and after awhile it seems to dwindle down and not interact as much anymore? Well, this roleplay has made me feel welcomed and loved and at home ( the admin is a total sweetheart ) and that my character is welcomed and loved. The other good thing about this roleplay is that no matter what type of character you have, whether it’s canon or oc, you’re welcome there ( hell, it’s a grey’s rp and there’s an oc with a tattoo shop, how cool is that ) but either way, I have found my forever home ( it even brought back my Arizona muse here, although I don’t roleplay as Arizona there )

Please keep in mind that just because something happens on the show, doesn’t mean the roleplayer has to like it or continue it with their character. The way a roleplayer portrays a character is completely up to them, it’s what roleplaying is all about : picking a character and making it your own, whether you keep in sync with the series or not, either way, it’s up to you. That also applies to ships, just because it happened canonly  on the show, doesn’t mean the roleplayer has to ship it for their character, Please keep that in mind when roleplaying, that someone’s opinion is their own and they’re allowed to have one.

Sooooo as the incredibly crappy graphic says, drmcperky is incredibly old. On the 11th of January eight years ago, I created an account for a character, a certain character from a show that had just been brought in but the moment I laid eyes on her, I KNEW that I was going to roleplay as her, and I have been, for eons, and yesterday marked my anniversary. It’s crazy to believe how one character, can change your life? In saying that, I have been in this community for that long, watching it grow from mere amount of people to an expanding mass of people, people who LOVE their characters and know their characters.

This is just a thank you to all of those that have stuck by me, not necessarily from the beginning ( purely because there aren’t many ) but who have come into my life and have stayed there for the duration of this journey, a journey that I have shared with many of you, many ups and downs but no matter what, it will ALWAYS be worth. Thank you for becoming my family, being there when I needed and for being there even when I didn’t need it. I know that, in some of you, I’ve ‘met’ a friend for life because you understand me, even when I don’t understand myself --- and let’s face it, you’re stuck with me now.
