So! I haven’t been home in the past few days, been attending to my mother while she’s in the hospital, but I just got back and am likely gonna do some shit even though i feel like a fresh pile of shit. Thank you all for being patient with me. I say this often but shit’s been ROUGH.

That said, bc of the hurricane, I’m gonna be hunkered down and writing until either 1. the electricity goes out or 2. the rest of this house comes tumbling down.

I must also say that in spite of the Volition PR team being kinda yikes at the moment, the rise of the saints rp fandom is fucking great yo

Okay I’m home, and I swear this is the last post i’m gonna do both before replies and about this whole new saints thing, but--

a few others on the dash have expressed this and i just want to say as well that, yeah, okay, the dev team has worked hard on this new saints thing, cool, but the response to the OG fans being disappointed that their favorite characters are not coming back is just...... abhorrent??? Like yeah I will not deny some fans are being disgusting ( don’t tell people to die folks ), but for the few that are respectfully expressing their disappointment, the response to them has just been plain “deal with it” in PR form.

The fact that Daniel Dae Kim has also expressed his own disappointment on not being able to come back as Johnny is kinda saying something.

On top of that, there’s a “mural” on the front page of the Saints Row website now with a skeleton holding the Saints Flow can.

Like dude. Dude. We get it. The old you is gone but do you have to be that blunt?
