I...JUST REMEMBERED THAT UNLIKE MOST OTHER PEEPS I NEVER REALLY TALKED ABOUT STUFF RE: PEOPLE KNOWING MIKI, SO! Here We Go

so, would your oc know miki? the answer is-- it’s certainly possible! you are, of course, more likely to know about their memeticist work if your oc is interested in things like business and marketing and social science, where they’re well known and where their skills are in demand-- but they have a very visible presence on social media, and they have a popular blog where they talk about all sorts of things aside from their work (they actually have separate accounts for their talent/work stuff, but they talk frequently enough about trends and memes on their casual/personal accounts, too, since they’re asked about their thoughts/for explanation on that sorta stuff A Lot by people), so your oc could, potentially, know them from that! other things they talk about aside from trend and business stuff includes: fashion, manga + webcomics + video games, music, some p olitics, lgbt+/mogai stuff, and just their own day-to-day adventures! it’s a clutter of subjects, really, but they manage to make it Work. (note on the lgbt+/mogai stuff: miki kind of makes it their mission to educate people on that sorta thing, so they do a fair bit of online activism relating to that! in particular, they talk a lot about being x-gender (aka non-binary), and try to make people more aware of that! generally, if you know of miki, you likely know about them being very nb + pansexual as well)

tl;dr: if you know miki it’s probably because of their work in social science, general insightful analysis on memes and trends of the day, and/or bc they’re Very Non-Binary As Fuck

I don’t know who’s following here yet, but hi there! I’m Shiny, also known as BTN or Junie/Juniper, and it’s great to see you all! I’m a demigirl currently stuck in the Gender Hell Void, so any pronouns are fine with me! (For some examples, she/her, they/them, he/him, ne/nir/nem, and fae/faer/faers all work for me!) I’ll be playing Miki Asahi, SHSL Memeticist!! Chances are, if you know me, you recognise me from having played Natsuya Nijisaki, SHSL Film Critic in Doubt Academy 4: Rot, and/or Miyako Ikumi, SHSL Midwife in Astral Cabal 3: Pearl/Platinum! Both of them endgamed, somehow, and I burn everyday. Please make sure to destroy Miki Asahi for me.

Just so you know, I may be somewhat infrequent at the moment, as, until July 19, I am on vacation in France, with little consistent access to wifi! However, once I’m back home, I’ll be around pretty much all the time, so feel free to talk to me about whatever!
