Tired AF from the plane ride, though for once customs was pretty easy (they apparently got rid of the arrival security checks since the last time I was on a transatlantic flight).

Spending the holidays with the European side of the fam this year. Hopefully I won’t have too much change in activity but I’ll be on a six hour+ time difference than I usually have.
I’m gearing up to head to the airport rn, I’m reminded of how much I hate flying. NOT that I’m ‘afraid’ of flying. That I literally HATE flying. Idk if anyone here has ever had to endure the horror of a transatlantic flight but it’s basically “Hi let me list all the minor things that could inconvenience you heavily before you even get on a plane meanwhile you can look forward to a full inch of legroom and only a 95% chance of sitting next to some weirdo who keeps scratching himself.”
...had to let that out. Flying aside, should be nice to reconnect a bit with the family.
