Let’s talk about Allison’s parents for a moment.

Lydia & Leon met when they were only 17 years old. Lydia had a rather strained relationship with her family (Mostly her parents) and ran off to Woodcrest with Leon so they could start their own lives. Over the years they mostly worked temp jobs and did whatever they could to make a dollar. However, they were quick to discover that they were really good a tracking people down... more specifically criminals. At about 22-24 years old is when they made a name for themselves as bounty hunters and with the aid of Leon’s brother, they formed their own team known as The Armforge. Lydia being the leader would later recruit, Sebastian Wellman (Who would later become their third lover), Elliot Conay (Leon’s Brother), Antione Rose (Leon’s friend & Salenna’s father), Jasmine Frost (Who later turned traitor), Oliver Phillips (Sky’s dad and a Seeker), & Flora Hauet (Antione’s second wife & Salenna’s Stepmother) For a good decade and some change, they made a name for themselves in the arcane underworld taking down crime syndicates and keeping the world safe from arcane threats.

After that, however, things quickly turned sour. Sebastian died in a botched mission to apprehend the head of the Moore family, Oliver was kidnapped after the team was set up to investigate a cult, and Jasmine kidnapped Salenna shortly after she was born and left the team for dead at the hands of the cult. So after the disappearance of Oliver, they all retired. Despite this, Lydia continued to investigate The Moores and look for Oliver. She would also tell her tales of adventure to her children, hoping to inspire them to go great things later in life. And that she did. Ever since she was little she always dreamed of being a bounty hunter like her mother. Lydia has... mixed feelings about this. While she wants a much better life for Allison than that, she has no doubt that her daughter can do much MUCH better than her mother. Even after Oliver was found, and the team reunited to take down Jasmine once and for all, they remained in retirement. They had their time in the spotlight, now it’s their children’s turn. However, should a threat come about that even their kids can’t handle, Armforge will be back and they’ll be back with a vengeance.

Random facts about Allison & her family in no particular order.

Allison learned how to shoot from her father at the age of 17. She was well on her way of being on her own in the world and Leon wanted to make sure she knew how to protect herself. Lydia taught her tow to pull guns apart and put them back together.

Leon & Lydia are pansexual. Their former lover Sebastian was bisexual. Allison’s older brother is gay. Her uncle on Leon’s side is demisexual and panromantic.

Allison met the unicorn Aurora DeWinter when she was only 13 years old. Aurora was injured from an encounter with the Moore family, and feigned being critically wounded to see what the young girl’s reaction would be. After a bit of chatting and learning her ambitions, Aurora admired Allison’s resolve and courageous heart, and took the young girl under her wing to train her in witchcraft.

Lydia has been doing her best to expose the Moore family for years for their experiments on magical creatures for years, but after a botched mission where Leon was critically injured and Sebastian died, her investigation has slowed to a crawl. After the Moore family was chased of Clayburrow, she doesn’t see much of a point now.

Allison came out to her parents at the age of 14. They were supportive and accepting but very worried about their daughter due to how bi women are treated in society. Leon’s family were very accepting but Lydia’s family… not so much. Let’s just say that Lydia is not on speaking terms with her mom and dad.
