I've been considering headcanoning that Arcade is useless for about an hour after he wakes up and prefers for there to be a judicious application of coffee during that hour. He strikes me as the kind of man that probably stays up way too late when he gets involved in anything (a project, an experiment, a book) and likely has a horrible sleeping schedule because of that and, y'know, the whole Freeside doctor thing. Emergencies happen at all hours, after all.

((Yes. He’s had one significant past relationship when he was younger, where he thought he was in love, but the man turned out to be using him. Luckily for Arcade, the man showed his true colors before he dopped The Secret, which he’d been considering for some time. I haven’t developed the idea overly much, yet, but I think it fits his basic personality well. Since then he’s had scattered one-night-stands, but lately it’s just been him and his imagination.

I stole the basic idea form a really good fanfic I read, but I can’t for the life of me remember which one. Probably grassfire, since their Arcade makes me want to rub my face on my screen with adoration.

//Don't know if you're doing WW, but how tall is Arcade? I know Anderson Cooper is like 5'10", but in-game Arcade's character model seems a bit taller than other male models (aside from Lanius, naturally, because holy SHIT). Where do you think your Arcade stands?

I usually put him around 6’3” to 6’5”, since Arcade is notably taller than other males (save the gargantuan Lanius, anyway). I’m not really sure where I’m gonna stick the slider bar for sure, probably at 6’4” ish.
