So as some of you already know, I have been super sick with a blood disorder that we are still trying to figure out. One week off of work is now turning into three weeks, which may turn into more depending on what happens when I see the hematology specialist on the 11th. I just mailed in the paperwork to start receiving short term disability, but who knows how that will take and I will only be receiving 60% of my base pay, equaling about Pennsylvania state minimum wage once its all said and done. I was forced to use up the rest of my PTO which was drained very quickly, so I am currently not receiving any income. My rent and utilities for the month are paid, and I do have some money saved up, but I really do not want to drain the last of what savings I have if I can help it. (Since March I already went through two major issues that in total drained my savings to a third of what I originally had.) This is also the slow season for my fiance who is a theater technician, so money is tight on his end too. I still need to pay for this month my car insurance, phone bill, student loan payment, oil change for my car, and order more worms for Lumiya.
