[ rewatching andor s1 before diving into s2 and god the thought that Anakin escaped slavery and his goal was to free all the slaves, and his Empire is using people as slaves to build their tech... wild. I'm sure in Vader's fucked up way he's like oh they are all criminals-- that or he doesn't even know because that's the higher possibility, the Empire is massive, Vader doesn't have control like he'd like to think ]
