If hetero means “other” and homo means “same” then Does that mean enby people are heterosexual but that means opposite gender but then homosexual still wouldn’t work if it’s same

I wish I could morph my being into whatever gender I'm feeling instead of trying to be a given gender at a given time because of the rigid gender binary in our society. Like, why can't I let my ethereal blob gender shine through?
