10 and 23!
10: Has any book ever influenced you greatly?
I think these two books have had the biggest influence on my life out of everything I’ve ever read:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (obviously) which I read at a really great time
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald really ‘opened up my eyes’ if you will plus it taught me a lot about writing and interpreting
23: Which book do you wish had a sequel?
Argh tough question! Hmmm. Most stand alones I’ve read actually finish quite conclusively so this is hard. I think Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell because I feel like that book had a lot more potential still left by the end. Then again, I’m not as big a fan of that book as everyone seems to be – I prefer Fangirl. It was still great, just not revolutionary and I still wanted to find out more about Eleanor and Park! Also I wouldn’t mind reading a modern sequel to Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw where the Governess is in a mental hospital. That’d be interesting.
