This easy recipe makes New York strip steaks that are soft and full of flavor. They are cooked to perfection in the oven. The herbs and spices work together to make a tasty crust on the outside that keeps the meat juicy and tender on the inside.
Ingredients: 2 New York strip steaks. 2 tbsp olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tsp paprika. 1 tsp dried thyme. 1 tsp dried rosemary.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. For about 30 minutes, take the steaks out of the fridge and let them come to room temperature. Use paper towels to dry the steaks, then rub them all over with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary. Make sure the flavors are spread out evenly. Heat up a pan over high heat. When it's hot, sear the steaks for two to three minutes on each side, or until they are browned. Put the skillet in the oven that has already been heated and cook the steaks for another 5 to 7 minutes, or longer if you like them more done. After taking the steaks out of the oven, let them rest for 5 minutes. Cut the steaks up and serve them hot.
