Over War Monarch Edition Kickstart (2/1/24 - 2/14/24)
I'm crowdfunding an upgraded version of my mostly diceless SNES era tabletop roleplaying srpg.
Over War is both a roleplaying game where every player has 2--7 characters and a tile-based wargame that hyper aggressively rewards tactics, positioning, and reading your opponent over luck.
There's messy geopolitics, a gothic high fantasy setting, all manner of recruitable critters, a general populace that either likes or hates you based on whether you confirm their biases about what a ruler should be, and a whole lot of meaningful decisions to make.
Befriend vampires. Recruit snakemen. Put a sea cucumber in the front of your unit and walk unimpeded through bogs. The possibilities are endless!
This is going to be a relatively short kickstart, running from 2/1/24 - 2/14/24, and the Monarch Edition includes all existing Over War material plus new solo support, better usability, custom illustrations, and one slightly mangy gryphon who's trying his hardest.
I can relate to that gryphon.
