I’m feeling blessed this morning as my son reads a book given to him several years ago at Christmas time. It’s titled Jingle all the Way. It’s a about a puppy named Jingle. The book came with a stuffed dog (Jingle) who responds with different barking sounds throughout the story if you read it clearly. The interactive part is not the most magical part though. It’s my son who is reading so clearly that Jingle is responding correctly for the first time. You see this boy here was unsuccessful at breast feeding as a baby and needed speech therapy for over two years as a preschooler because he had some developmental delays. You would never know listening to him read to Jingle and his sister this morning. So Moms who are in the trenches right now with your littles worrying about how they will overcome the obstacles life has presented, just wait and see how they bloom through adversity!
