Šimon Kadlčák & Petr Nápravník: Great Words Crushed By Different Things
exhibition @Ideál Prostor, Prague, CZ
21/12/2018
Co-operative exhibition of two artists from Brno shows the ecstatic experience of words, sounds and signs as a form of the original rhythm. A twisting word became a word. It was a clear and purposely articulated sound but nobody understood it just yet. Everybody felt that it suddenly resonated completely differently than ever before. It penetrated everybody and everything in a definite form. It slided down some kind of a scale as a chimney sweeper climbs down a ladder. The individual speech sounds clicked properly for a moment, then it resonated separately inside of everyone. It echoed on its own which was a bit scary. The man affected by this did not had a firm grasp of what had happened to him. It had gone through him and it physically remained inside of him. He danced as if in a trance. That was how he suddenly felt. He became a little wire. In the beginning there was the word and the word was STRIKINGING (POSTÍHÁVÁNÍ)
