I know I’m still on my King Gizzard vibe, but such a phenomenally prolific band with such a range of styles keeps on hitting nails on the head! This is a short one, but pretty much captures the whole Brian Jonestown Massacre vibe perfectly. Fucking perfect intro, the synth into the jangly acoustic into the overdriven drums into the main riff into the vox into the crazy sounding electric rythm (DA DA DAAAAA, but replace the DA’s with an angle grinder sound). I’ve no idea what the lyrics say (except “Mystery Jack” and “I hope I don’t wake up”, but it don’t matter, you still groove the same. The outro to the song is superb as well, it sounds like power lines whipping a robot into a frenzy. KGATLZ is the gift that keeps on giving, over and over. I’m willing to bet they will become/already are one of the most important, genuine and influential bands of the 2010′s. Keep at it boys!
