PSI Time

Lucas let out a light groan as he and Ness skid to a halt at the top of the mountain in Onett, having just arrived from Ness’ “teleport alley”. Despite the hill being covered in snow it was a rather nice and sunny day. A good thing too considering this was their first official “psi training day”.

Snow crunched beneath Lucas’s feet as he took a few steps around, attempting to regain his bearings. He still wasn’t quite used to teleporting. “Yeah this looks like a far away enough place.” Lucas was still concerned about people seeing his powers, even though according to Ness Onett was a fairly open minded place, considering that’s where he came from.

"So how exactly are we going to do this? I don’t know what will happen if I do anything too...weird, and I don’t really want to pass out on you.”

“Yo Ness I’m here!” Lucas called as he knocked on the brunets door. It had been far too hot for this time of year and Ness had offhandedly suggested they go to the beach in their earlier phone call which Lucas happily accepted the idea. He had no idea what beach they were exactly going to but anything would do to get out of this heat. 

And that’s why he was standing outside Ness’s door in a pair of swim trunks, a small cooler with a few sandwiches, cans of soda was hanging off of one shoulder and an inner tube hanging off the other. A pair of sunglasses sat stuffed in his hair. 

“Sorry I took so long, I had to buy these swim trunks before I got here. I didn’t have a pair. How do they look?”

“I’m still low key trying to figure out all of Ness’ powers. Like I know he can apparently teleport, levitate stuff, and he can heal, but I feel like there’s a bunch of stuff he hasn’t shown me yet. I really need to get up the courage to ask him more about himself.”

Your cellphone is ringing, Lucas, and the caller is Ness. Do you answer it?

He actually got kinda scared when it started ringing. He keeps forgetting he has that. “Hey,” he smiles into the phone. Why wouldn’t he answer it?

"Lucas are you okay? I heard someone was giving you a hard time and wanted to check."

               Lucas jumped when Ness popped his head in. He had been curled up on his bed trying to stop his seemingly endless tears. Nonononono, he couldn’t let Ness see him like this. “I-I’m fine.” He called out, fece stuffed into a pillow. “It’s alright. I dealt with them. I’m good.”

               “orly?”
