Attending a convention in forever’s reminded me one of the thing I enjoy the most about sitting a table at an artist alley is all the mixed assortment of people I get to meet and greet. 

I got to be neighbours with rainbowthinker (she’s super fucking cute and seeing her art in the physical plane, TOP). roxi4 brought along some of these Free! cookies she baked up herself and literally way too cute to be eaten but, when you put food in my hands, it’ll fulfill its duty to be eaten. THANK YOU!!

It’s been a great experience, but sales wise I think this year wasn’t a good one for artists overall from the consensus so I might put the remaining ones online for those interested. 

LET’S RINSE AND REPEAT NEXT YEAR, and hopefully, crossing fingers to see more of you in AX next year too!

I had a real good time at Overload yesterday.  Was great to see so many old faces and meet some new.  Picked up a bit of art, several during the end-of-day scramble where artists go around to tables to trade. <3 I was also amazed, for an art convention where anime is usually the big focous, how many people came to talk about Dragon Age, Borderlands, Mass Effect and even Zero Escape with me.  So many Borderlands and Dragon Age fans especially!  Yay! I don’t know if I will be back next year.  I came this year as I wasn’t traveling this time around so had the spare time to prep and come up and sell at a table but I have no idea what I will be doing in 2016 (though I’d really like to travel again, I REALLY miss both Asia and Canada, soo...) I also have a bunch of merch. that I will pop onto my Storenvy once I am back in Wellington.  I know people were asking about sticker sets/ATCs etc so my store will hopefully re-open late next week with an overhaul and new things up since last time. :)

OVERLOAD 2015 / 27.09.2015

exhibited with jayuu/k-okor-o at overload 2015 yesterday! it was a really good day and we’re looking forward to 2016 c: shout out to everyone who stopped by our table and to the other artists exhibiting at the event (especially all you lovely people who i talked with, sorry i’m too much of an awkward ball to talk more >_<), you guys all helped to make overload a fantastic event and i’m hugely excited to see everyone’s amazing artwork and cosplays next year! and hopefully i’ll have more cash so i can actually buy prints instead of just crying over them :p

i finally have a bit of time to upload the rest of the prints now, this was an old drawing i fixed up from around two years ago. it surprisingly did quite well, so i might try going back to my roots to do more illustrations like this in the future hehe

just wanted to make a quick post about overload (for what is perhaps the 7th time this night)! thank you so much to everyone who stopped at our table today (i was what seemed like the only tsukiyama), it really means a lot considering it was our first time selling anything at a convention and the turn out was pretty good! it was really exciting meeting all the other artists there and trading stuff at the end and again thank you to everyone for showing up because some of you guys have some real talent! 

...i got so many pictures taken of me haha

Thank you everyone who came along to overload today! It was a long day and I'll make a better post once I get back home tomorrow, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who bought something and all the artists I traded with.
