So I was wondering, does Aurora have storm/severe weather anxiety? Or does she love a good storm?

How would she react in a tornado?

She doesn't have any anxiety when it comes to storms. I would say she is... respectful of storms haha. She finds them beautiful and fascinating, but she knows that nature is dangerous and not to be taken lightly so she's not going to go running into a tornado haha

Since I have Sonic being an overprotective father in my AU, I'd say that he'd be the one going over the top during a storm and shouting "DON'T PANIC. IT'S GONNA BE OKAY. STAY AWAY FROM THE WINDOWS" while young Aurora is like "But the sky is so pretty!" In Sonic's defense, he's used to Tails being terrified of storms so he just assumes all 'littles' are scared of them (and he's got the buried trauma of his mom dying from a flash flood, so that doesn't help...)

Okay, Hear me out... I'm anon because I'm nervous. BUT, IDK if you seen the metal virus from the IDW comics, How would that senerio work in this AU? Like I know this Eggman is more of a sitcom villain, but maybe... He was the one who thought about the idea, but not intact it... Maybe another villain did and framed Eggman. I'm just imagining how sonic would feel being infected and how it would feel not touching Amy or Aurora. Oh god, Imagine if Aurora getting infected...

Like I mentioned in the guide to my AU, the plan is that most of (if not all) of the IDW comic is canon so yes, the Metal Virus would have happened to the gang even in my stories.

I know Sonic isn’t one to think about the past and he’s always more focused on the present, but I personally headcanon that the events of the Metal Virus and the events of Sonic Frontiers still haunt him and his friends for sure. The important thing is that they got through it and they do their best to not let it eat at them, but those are the kind of harrowing events that stick with you.

My AU is mostly comedic so I tend to not focus too heavily on the drama, but just like you said— even the thought of not being able to hold his wife or his child truly terrifies Sonic. This is one of many reasons why he was so overprotective of Aurora when she was growing up. Even though Sonic has a sunny disposition on life and he loves adventure, he’s seen how dangerous the world can be too and so he kind of over-corrects and gives Aurora more of a sheltered life.

All joke scenarios aside, I like to imagine that Sonic literally has nightmares about Aurora marrying the Biolizard. Like, he just bolts up in bed screaming "NO!" and Amy's just like "the Biolizard wedding nightmare again?"

The Aurora X Biolizard wedding may not be canon, but this headcanon of a recurring nightmare sure is! ✔️👍 Thanks for sharing, it made me laugh!

Hmm... i can't help but wonder, would sonic want to be a dragon that keeps a princess (Amy) captive, but safe, or would he prefer to stay the generic role of being a knight in shining armor?

Sonic is always the hero, no matter what. That is what he is just by definition :)

I think it’s only in cases of his daughter where he accidentally gets overprotective and doesn’t realize that it’s doing more harm than good. He thinks he’s being a good dad by looking out for her but he doesn’t realize that he’s actually keeping her from having adventures like he always had. It’s not intentional, and when it’s pointed out to him he just gets mad at himself.

When shadow decides to propose to aurora will sonic give them his blessing?

By the time he’d finally ask I think they’d be on good terms. Nobody’s ever going to be good enough to marry his daughter but by then I think they’d be mostly okay. By that I mean, he wouldn’t destroy him heehee
