They should have been forced to argue about who is better with the other one in the Room
Is it just me or is the Fact that Sam and Dean are so selfcritical and ignorant to the others flaws, one of the major reasons that make the Confrontations where they can´t ignore these flaws the worst. Like I know that Brothers fight and then ignore each other for a few hours or days but they literally can´t do that. They where always in each others pockets and are virtually the only Person that understands them so leaving that safty net of understanding is f*cking scary (for Sam because he left and had to live without it and for Dean because he is so dependent on being needed and protecting Sam that he can´t leave him) and because of that they Ignored and suppressed some really hurtfull things but when they can´t ignore and suppress something and are leaving or slowly pulling away are the worst of there “fights”. Like I remember Dean telling sam that he should have died instead of Charlie but the memorie of Sams dissappointment, hurt and betrail when he found out about Gadreel is so much more visceral.
